Demographics

It is not surprising how little we know about our member's, age, sex, race, or occupation because we rarely ask. We can guess at sex from names, and know the age is on the higher side because of all the gray hair that shows up at events. However there are times when it would be handy to know more about our members so that we can design programs to better suit the members. If you would like to voluntarily contribute some information about yourself (and partner) please fill out the form here.

Volunteers

The core of our membership volunteer. The largest group of volunteers maintain trails but there are plenty of opportunities to help in the office, participate in advocacy efforts, work on publications, help with fundraising, or pick your own project and just do it. If it has something to do with trails, we are probably interested. Volunteer hours are very important to us as we can use their dollar value for matching grants.
