Corridor Monitoring Work Trip

Registration is closed for this event
Come along for Appalachian Trail Corridor Boundary Maintenance week!

A.T. blazeJoin Members of the Appalachian Long Distance Hikers Association (ALDHA) and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy for a four-day Boundary Maintenance work trip.  We are focusing on the A.T. corridor lands (owned by the National Park Service) south of Harriman that the Trail Conference oversees.  Each morning we traverse the property boundary of the corridor and repaint yellow boundary markers which were placed at the time of the original boundary surveys, recover all of the survey monuments, and clear a line of sight along this boundary.

If you would like to camp at the Trail Conference's Major Welch Education Center in Harriman during this period, please let Ron Bungay know ahead of time, so that arrangements can be made.

Please register.  Space is limited. Questions? contact Ron: [email protected]
