Learn About our Capital Campaign

Picture of something
Learn while hiking!

The Trail Conference has a plan to permanently protect long-distance trail corridors over the next decade and volunteers are spreading the word! Trail Conference volunteers are inviting you to join them in an informal information session about how this plan will work and why a capital campaign is needed to make it a reality.

Since it is most appropriate and enjoyable for these information sessions to occur on the trails, Trail Conference volunteers will lead a series of hikes this fall and are hoping you can join them. In addition to a splendid autumnal hike, during the snack break, you will be treated to a short discussion about how, with your help, the dream of permanently protecting and maintaining greenways can become a reality.

We are calling this campaign, Connecting People With Nature. Please join us to learn about it and how you can contribute , while enjoying scenic views and interesting conversation with other Trail Conference members and volunteers!

The calendar below lists details of each hike that TC volunteers will be leading. Most are easy-to-moderate level and encompass a variety of beautiful views and recent Trail Conference accomplishments. This calendar will continue to be updated throughout the fall, so please check back weekly for additional hikes and details, as they become available!

Once you decide which hike(s) you would like to attend, please RSVP to Lisa Cargill, at the TC office, 201-512-9348 or to Cargill@nynjtc.org and you will be provided with a meeting place and more details.

Looking forward to seeing you on the trails!
