1. MEETING SCHEDULE for the rest of 2002:

2. The Mitzvah Day for 2002 will be held on Sunday, April 28 [the day before this meeting]. Please let Walt Daniels and/or Jane Geisler know if you can help at either project site for that day! 

3. 2002 Mid-Atlantic Crew Proposals are due April 26, 2002 (BEFORE this meeting]. If you have any project ideas you would like to submit, contact Ron Rosen ASAP for the application materials!

Meeting Centerpiece: Sara Ohliger has agreed to fill us in (briefly) on her full range of activities in her Americorps position with the Dutchess Land Conservancy-believe it or not, her water testing for us is only a small part of her entire job there. She will explain some of her watershed education duties as well!

Information, Comments, & Notes

All Committee members, please attend this meeting; or please call the Chairman (Ron Rosen: 845/454-4936 (be persistent) or 454-1721 (leave a message if not in) if you CANNOT attend.

After the last meeting, we received an Email from Rita Hennessy that the Public Lands Corps project plans for 2003 AND 2004 will need to be submitted to her by APRIL 15th, so she can submit them to the appropriate NPS office by the end of April. Ron Rosen met with YRDC people on March 27th and developed a shopping list of project ideas for the submission. Details will be available at this meeting.
