please call the Chairman (Ron Rosen: 845/454-4936 or 454-1721 (leave a
message if not in) if you CANNOT attend.
2. We received the final results of the Public Lands
Corps project from this Summer=s crew, in the form of two Excel
spreadsheets in the format used by ATC to track boundary status, showing
work done in Segments 270 and 269. The Summer Crew AND its Americorps
leaderships have now disbanded, and YRDC realized that their original
grant request included more hours (2000 in all) than completed by the
Summer PLC crew. YRDC is proposing that they use other crews to complete
the work this fall, using YRDC advisors as crew leaders. They plan to
continue the boundary ANo Hunting@ sign posting and, as a second
priority, to build new bulletin boards for us to our specification.
Please bring your opinions concerning their priorities for the fall to
this meeting.
