2. As some of you are aware, the Westchester-Putnam Boy Scout Council has in fact sold Camp Siwanoy to Tudor Jones, owner of Quaker Valley Farms in Pawling. While he appears to be a conservation buyer, we need to meet with him or his site manager and work out a long-term relationship. At this meeting, we will discuss the items of concern, including a possible recommendation to the National Park Service for upgrading some or all of the NPS easements to fee ownership, and perhaps adding a ROW to the Wiley Well site for vehicular access.

FYA items: Walt has provided us will updated Trail Maintainer/Volunteer lists; these will be distributed to Supervisors at this meeting.

FYI items:

  • Scenic Hudson Community Events calendar, October 2002
  • AMC/CT Trails Cmte minutes. September 10, 2002
  • Public Notice of Lot Realignment, Shenandoah Lake Estates, Long Hill Road vicinity
