PICNIC/POTLUCK DETAILS:

Feel free to invite any AT enthusiasts you know.  It will be a nice way for them to learn about committee efforts, the 35th Biennial Meeting in Tennessee just completed and the upcoming 36th Biennial Meeting in Mahwah, NJ hosted by the NY/NJ Trail Conference.

Last year's picnic was visited by numerous AT through hikers who really appreciated our "home cooking" and trail magic!

We ask that all guests bring a dish to share for 10 people.  Please let Diane Bamford, the picnic coordinator, know if you are attending, how many guests you will be bringing, and what dish you plan to contribute by July 15th.  Send this info to: dbamf1128@aol.com (put “Food for Picnic” in the subject line).

Note that ALL AT Volunteers (including Club Volunteers, especially Maintainers and Monitors) and people newly interested in volunteering are WELCOME!

DIRECTIONS TO THE RPH SHELTER:

Interstate 84 to the Taconic; Taconic south one exit to Miller Hill Rd. westbound; go to bottom of hill (about a quarter mile); left (south) onto Hortontown Road; right into first driveway.

Tim Messerich is leading his annual work (and feasting) crew on July 8-10. They will be based out of the RPH shelter, but may do some work at other locations. Feel free to drop in and help with the work in progress! For further information, contact Tim at (845) 297-9573 ASAP!
