SignUp for Trail Crew

The Trail Conference trail crews are made up of volunteers dedicated to the construction and rehabilitation of foot trails in the Southern New York and Northern New Jersey area. Volunteers must become members of the Conference to participate in these projects. A one time "guest" participation is allowed.

Work is in various parts of New Jersey; consider joining us when we're working in your area. We need trail volunteers to help us complete our work on this, New Jersey's long distance trail.

Leaders: Glenn Oleksak (973) 283-0306 (HT Supervisor) and Adam Rosenberg (973) 570-0853 (HT Co-Supervisor). First or second Sunday of each month. Trips start at 10am. Call, email, or check NY-NJ TC website calendar for directions and details of work trip.

We generally get together the first Sunday of every month to tackle various jobs building new sections or reworking existing sections of the Highlands Trail in New Jersey. All are welcome, experience is not necessary.

For all trips, bring lunch, drinking water, work gloves and wear sturdy work shoes. Contact leader for details of the current trip and what tools to bring.

We are also looking for a Trail Maintainer for a section along the Sussex Branch Trail; if interested, please contact the HT Supervisor or contact the NYNJTC  Volunteer Coordinator.
