On-line registration is now closed! You can still make an online pledge to support trails. Click on "Support a Hiker." Trails are impacted by storm damage, invasive species, erosion, foot traffic from thousands of visitors, and budget cuts every year. Join us and acknowledge the importance of a healthy lifestyle, environmental stewardship, and outdoor recreation in your life by registering for this fun event! Participants pick a hike and obtain a minimum of $200 in pledges to complete their hike to support Trail Conference activities - such as trail building and maintenance, and trailside education - at Bear Mountain and Harriman State Parks. Online registration and pledge processing makes it easy for participants and the people supporting you to help you reach your personal goal, which we'll coach you to achieve! Click on the relevant yellow tabs above to REGISTER NOW and set up your pledge page, make a pledge to SUPPORT A HIKER, or LEARN MORE for an overview of the routes and the event in general. The ten registrants who raise the most money will receive prizes, such as a Shak Jersey from Ibex, a Men's R1 Fleece Pullover or a Women's R1 Fleece Full-Zip Jacket from Patagonia, a Nike gift certificate, a framed photo series of Bear Mountain and the surrounding area, a month's free membership at the NYSC, camping cookware from GSI, a free night's stay at the Overlook Lodge located at Bear Mountain, a pack from TimBuk2, and more to be announced! Get registered and start gathering pledges now to keep the trails open, accessible, and safe for your enjoyment today! |
