Updates to Hike of the Week book

Update as of 4/27/14
  1. Part of the Marsh Discovery Trail in Richard W. DeKorte Park (Hike #1) is currently closed.
  2. The DeCamp Trail that leads to the top of the Tourne (Hike #3) is now blazed yellow (the description states that it is unmarked, although the accompanying map on page 16 correctly indicates the yellow blaze color). The route of the hike described in the book is unchanged.
  3. The trail through the Cedar Swamp in Cheesequake State Park (Hike #4) has been repaired and is now open.  The detour described in the hike is no longer in use.
  4. In Garret Mountain Reservation (Hike #29), the trail from the castle up to the top of the mountain is now marked with the green/yellow-with-canal-boat-logo blazes of the Morris Canal Greenway, rather than with the yellow blazes of the Garret Mountain Trail.  Once at the top of the mountain, the Morris Canal Greenway blazes join the yellow-blazed Garret Mountain Trail and then the White Trail, until they depart from the White Trail on the western ridge of the mountain.  The route of the hike described in the book is unchanged, and the hiker should continue to follow the White Trail when the Morris Canal Greenway blazes turn off to the right.
