A significant portion of the Trail Conferences annual budget comes from contributions. There are many ways to contribute. If you work for a corporation that matches your contributions, be sure to fill out their appropriate forms and include them with your contribution. The Trail Conference is a 501 (c) (3) corporation so your contributions are fully tax deductible.
  • Contribute during the annual spring or fall fund raiser mailing. These usually go into the Outdoor Fund which is used to support our open space preservation efforts.
  • Select one of the higher classifications of membership.
  • Join the Torrey Society.
  • Contribute to any of several special funds that support particular projects. Call the office, 201-512-9348, for details.
  • Include the Trail Conference in your estate planning.

Contribute right now online at our Hikers' Market Place. Or print out a Publications Order form, which also contains a membership form so that you automatically qualify for member rates on your other purchases. The membership form also contains a line on which you can contribute. Fill it out and mail it or phone it, 201-512-9348 or fax it, 201-512-9012, if you have a Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

Where there's a Will, there's a Trail

When we build them, you hike them. We've been building and protecting trails for 80 years for a least four generations of hikers since 1920. That's 1,600 miles in New York and New Jersey to date. Help us keep building for the next generation by naming the NY-NJ Trail Conference in your will. A bequest makes a wonderful gift, and it lasts beyond one lifetime.

Got A Match?

As hikers, we're sometimes looking for a match to light our campfire or (in today's LNT society) a backpacking stove.

We at the NY-NJ Trail Conference are also looking for matches to "stoke" our fires. We are looking for the corporate match -- the corporate gift that matches your gift.

Ask the company where you work if it will match your gift to the NY-NJ Trail Conference. Your company's matching gift can give us more "fuel" for future trail building and protection.
