Spend the morning touring the Trail Conference Headquarters, learning about the organization’s history and mission, and getting introduced to the season’s work. After lunch, we’ll hike straight into Ramapo Valley County Reservation. We’ll look at one of last year’s major projects and talk about additional work that needs to get done (as well as learn how to hang blazes). Will finish up by going over work reporting protocol.
Bring: Notebook, pen/pencil, sturdy shoes, water, lunch/snacks, and tough clothing appropriate for outdoor work. Raingear and warm layers depending on forecast.
