This day will be an introduction to working with the crew - it's required for the trailbuilding interns, but anyone is welcome to join in who wants to know more about the "office side" of trailbuilding.
The morning will be spent indoors with a tour of historic Darlington Schoolhouse and discussing liability, insurance, first aid kits, and reporting paperwork. After lunch we'll head out to take a short hike in Ramapo Valley County Reservation to take a look at a work project from last year which we'll be continuing this coming season.
Bring: Sturdy shoes, water, and lunch/snacks. Raingear and warm layers depending on forecast. Be prepared for some good walking and wholesome outdoor exercise!
