A Public Service Announcement
Trail Conference volunteer trail crews are extending trails, building bridges, and repairing treadways throughout our region. Help is welcome and needed. On-the-job training is provided. For details on work trips planned for April and beyond, click here.

Learn More About Trails
Our Trail University is open to students of all ages, all levels. Classes are just one day or weekend. Coming up in April: Maintenance 101 and Introduction to Trail Construction and Restoration. To learn more about these and other upcoming workshops, and to register, click here and here.

An LP Run for the Money
TC member David O’Neill, founder of Charity Runners, plans to set off on April 27 for his third annual Long Path run. David’s goal is to run the trail’s 347 miles in 10 days and, with pledges from supporters, to raise money for the Trail Conference. Click here for details.

The Trail Conference seeks “trail smart” people to work at our front desk to help answer phones, assist walk-in customers, and some other office duties. For more details, click here.

We Need a Little Law & Order
The Trail Conference has a land acquisition and stewardship program that could significantly benefit from the services of a paralegal or legal administrator. If you think you have the right background to contribute to this important work, go here for more information.

Hiking Extravaganza Coming Soon (July 13-20) to Our Area
The Trail Conference is hosting the 2007 meeting of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy. The program is family friendly, open to all, and offers 182 hikes to 94 destinations and 70 workshops on trail and nature topics.
