Temporary AT & 1777 Trail Relo at Route 9W; Temporary LP Closure at Section 33
The pedestrian tunnel carrying the AT and 1777 Trail underneath Route 9W (in between Bear Mountain State Park and the zoo) is closed for construction work, probably through February. Get trail news here.
Donate a Daypack or Backpack to Teen Program
Camp Vacamas seeks 25 daypacks and 25 backpacks (for camping) for their hiking programs for underprivileged teenagers. These packs can be used as long as they are clean and in good condition.
