Calling all volunteers! The Trail Conference needs YOUR help to clean up a tract of land in Summitville, NY, so it can be sold to the New York State DEC as an addition to the Wurtsboro Ridge State Forest. The bulk of the clean-up will be accomplished by a professional team, but we need volunteers to help us save some money. Please click here to find out how you can help.
New Advocacy Initiative: The Trail Conference is pleased to announce a new online advocacy alert program! LP Work Party Saturday, November 3
A special work project is planned on the Long Path in Palisades State Park with NJ PIPC on Saturday, November 3 to repair a damaged stream crossing at Forest View Trail junction. An April deluge created a wide gully that is turning into a chasm—there's need for quite a bit of rockwork to make a more protected stream crossing. Meet at the Forest View pedestrian bridge over Route 9W at 9:30 am. Reply to John Moran at thornburyhall@verizon.net
