and join us as we honor outstanding volunteers at our annual awards ceremony


Breakfast, Meeting & Awards, & Hikes Schedule

9:00 am Doors open for coffee

9:30 am Breakfast will be served.  Suggested donation for pancake breakfast:$15.00

     Please RSVP to let us know you will be joining us.

10:30 am Meeting.   Please join us as we will be honoring our most  outstanding volunteers and delegates will vote on nominations for board and delegates-at-large.

12:00 pm Hikes  The following hikes throughout Norvin Green State Forest will leave immediately following the meeting.

  • Assiniwikam Mountain, Led by Chris Connolly, 2.5 Miles (Easy Pace)
  • Carris Hill Loop, Led by Paul Makus, 4.5 Miles (Easy Pace)
  • Wyanokie High Point and the Iron Mines, Led by Bob Fuller, 5 Miles (Moderate Pace)
  • Wyanokie Torne, Osio Rock, Fracture Cave, Led by Don Weise, 7 Miles (Fast Pace, Strenuous)

  • If coming from New York State, Take I-287 South toward Morristown. If coming from Central New Jersey, take I-287 North toward Mahwah.
  • Take Exit 53 toward CR-694 / Bloomingdale / CR-511 / Pompton Lakes. 
  • Turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto Paterson Hamburg Turnpike (CR-694) and proceed 2.6 miles.
  • Turn right onto Macopin Rd (immediately after Blueberry Hill Farms on the right) and go approximately 2.9 miles.
  •  The Lodge entrance drive is on the left and is marked by a teepee on the corner.
