Englewood Cliffs Planning Board to Set Public Hearing on New Master Plan

Dear Palisades Park supporter --
We need you to join us at a crucial meeting of the Englewood Cliffs Planning Board thisThursday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. (Location: 10 Kahn Terrace). The Board will be scheduling a public hearing to redo its master plan, part of its after-the-fact attempt to justify its approval of LG’s 143’ foot tower and new zoning that would allow even more towers. This is another step by Englewood Cliffs to spoil the Palisades Park.
We seek a full house of supporters. Can you make it? Can you bring colleagues and friends? Our message: It made the wrong move when it allowed variances for the 143’ LG tower and then hastily tried to cover its tracks by changing zoning for the entire area atop the Palisades along Rt. 9W – and it’s making another bad move by redoing its master plan to cover up the lack of proper planning and the need to continue the protection that the Palisades have enjoyed for over a hundred years.
