Hike with State Senator David Carlucci, 38th NY State Senate District

Trail Conference members and residents of the 38th NY State Senate District (in Rockland and Orange counties) are invited to share their love of parks and trails on a hike with State Senator David Carlucci, Sunday morning, September 9.

This will be a moderate, 3-mile circular hike over uneven terrain with an initial steep and rocky climb to beautiful views from the top of Pine Swamp Mountain.  It will also feature numerous 19th-century iron mines, pleasant woods, and lakeside views.
 
The hike is expected to last approximately 2 hours.  Please bring a minimum of one quart of water and a snack.

Meet: 8:30 am at the Lake Skannatati parking lot in Harriman State Park, located on the west side of Seven Lakes Drive 0.7 miles north of Kanawauke Circle (intersection of Seven Lakes Drive and Route 106).
