Red Apple Rest Iconic Presentation

Wednesday, October 21, 2015 - 6:30pm

Red Apple Rest

For all those who stopped at the Red Apple Rest for the delicious foods or as a meeting place to gather with other hikers, the celebrated restaurant on Route 17 is returning the favor!

Author Elaine Freed Lindenblatt, the daughter of the man who founded the iconic eatery that served over one million customers annually, is an editor and writer whose essays and articles have appeared in Bergen, Rockland, and Orange county newspapers. "Stop at the Red Apple", she says, is "the story I had to write". This nostalgic presentation consists of a talk with slides and audience question and answers followed by a book sale/signing. Do not miss this opportunity to hear the entertaining inside story of growing up in this 24/7 family business!
