Last year, over 90 people came out for the Friends’ 5th Annual Hike-a-Thon and raised over $9,000 for the restoration of the hiking trails this year. With last year’s donations our Volunteer Trails Crew made improvements on many trails including:

– Repaired drainage ditches along the Old Croton Aqueduct
– Installed waterbars on the Cross Country Course
– Installed check dams on the John Muir Trail
– Closed unofficial trails, aka desire lines, in the park
