| SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 19 at 1 PM
This walk is being organized by the Friends of the Hackensack River
Greenway through Teaneck for Sierra Club members and friends, free of
charge.
Rick Mills, artist/producer of the Hackensack River Signstories
Project, will lead a two hour walk, beginning at the southern end of
Terhune Park, Teaneck. If at the end of this walk any folks want to
continue on, Jordan Wouk, president of Friends of the Greenway, will
lead them over to the Pomander Walk leaf transfer station. (The walk
back to the cars is not too far.) Afterwards, those who want to can
retire to a local diner for some R & R.
Meet at 1 PM at the Terhune Park Southern Entrance SIGN, which is
at the foot of Hillcrest Street and River Road, Teaneck. This is next
to the Bogota border on River Road. (Directions below.)
Please join us for the afternoon of November 19! Mark your
calendars! Please let me know if you're planning to come, so we have
some idea of how many people to expect. Thanks. Betsy ----------
