The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and PIPC will hold a public information session to discuss plans to remove ordnance and explosives from the hiking trails at Storm King Mountain, PIPC. The meeting will be at Overlook Lodge at Bear Mountain State Park on June 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

As Phase I of their Clean-up efforts, the Corps of Engineers proposes to clear 25 feet on either side of all impacted trails. The work should begin in mid-June and be completed by August 2000.
