Program: "Living with Black Bears in New Jersey" - Lynda Smith of the Bear Resource and Education (BEAR) Group will discuss the current bear situation in New Jersey, one year after the hunt was suspended, and how we can coexist peacefully with bears. Her talk will include the dos and don'ts when encountering a bear, tips on bear-proofing garbage bins and other precautions, and updates on the status of the Black Bear Protection Bill and the Fish and Game Council's continued campaign to restore the hunt.
