1/19 American Hiking Society Winter Trails 2002
An annual festival of winter hiking. Join AHS for FREE snowshoe demonstrations, snowshoe hikes, workshops on winter camping, events for the whole family, and much more. Nearest location is High Point State Park, NJ.

Learn how to lobby for your trails during American Hiking Society's Trails Advocacy Week. Advocacy Week provides training on trails issues and advocacy skills plus networking opportunities with trail
activists from around the nation. Advocacy Week helps secure funding and protection for the hiking trails and trail lands you use and enjoy.

5/31/-6/1 The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for the American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking, jogging, or running laps.
