John Boyd Thacher State Park:

Trails Day will be celebrated in John Boyd Thacher State Park near Albany with several projects on the Long Path. Three small brook cuts will be spanned by bridging, new waterbars will be installed or maintained, winter debris will be cleared, markers will be installed and the complete Section #34 will be reblazed. Meet at 9:00 a.m. at the Emma Treadwell Thacher Nature Center. Bring tools or they will be provided. Lunch will be served to all workers. The day's projects are sponsored by the Long Path North Hiking Club, the Friends of Thacher & Thompson's Lake State Parks, and the Albany Chapter of the ADK.
