Hudson Highlands Gateway Park

10am - 2pm hike in this new park in Cortlandt. Sponsored by Scenic Hudson and the town of Cortlandt. Trails built by NY-NJ Trail Conference, maintained by Town of Cortlandt as a member club. See AHS listing for details.

Musconetcong Mountain

The Musconetcong Mountain Conservancy plans ceremonies on June 7 -- National Trails Day -- to mark the completion of the trail. The public is invited to the 10:30 a.m. event off Polktown Road in Union Township.

Highbridge Park

Time: 9:30 am- 7:00pm
Itinerary:
9:30 am- 2:00pm
-Volunteer Projects consist of cutting back overgrowth along the Old Croton Trail in Highbridge Park; cleaning debris and trash from the trail and other sections in the park; removing invasive plant species from large sections of Highbridge Park; and blazing the Old Croton Trail.

2:00pm-7:00pm
-Festival includes nature walks with Urban Park Rangers; tour of Highbridge Water Tower, activities for children with our recreation staff, vendors selling refreshments, community groups tabling.

Morris County Parks and Trails Conservancy

Willowwood Arboretum and the Black River County Park Trails from 9-3. See flyer for details.

Ramapo Reservation

Experienced hike leaders will aquaint those who come to hiking. Meet at 9:30 am but call hike leader Phyllis Stewart, 201-327-6319, for details. Sponsored by ADK North Jersey Chapter.
