Grants to Clubs Member Clubs of the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference are eligible to receive small grants to help defray costs associated with the club’s trail-related activities. Up to four awards will be made annually at the discretion of the Trail Conference Board of Directors. |

Description of project including location or reason
The membership in Rock Cairns has declined. In order to attract new members, they want to produce a membership brochure.
List contributors to the project such as skills, estimated hours of volunteer time, etc.
Ima Walker, a graphic artist, has agreed to design a brochure. The membership chair and the hikes chair will supply the necessary information. Will "Snap" Shot will take the necessary photos. It is estimated that they will spend a total of 60 hours on the project.

The annual Holiday Party will have a white elephant sale of lightly used hiking items. The money collected will help underwrite some of the printing cost. It is estimated that the event will raise $250. In the event that more is raised, more copies of the brochure will be printed. If less is raised, a "pass the hat" at the next club function will be done.
Friendly Printers has offered a 25% discount on the printing costs ($300).
