2A. Subteam status reports - first and third Mondays

-- We need to determine and document guidelines for how and what files are placed on the Web.

* Business model (Ann)

  • Josh - Please handle contract for Drupal consultant ASAP¬† Also, need to set up call with Ann to go over todo's from Technology Committee meeting
  • For future Trail Walker - could we do an article highlighting the Web team and seeking volunteers (maybe when D6 ready for launch)?
  • Met with Volunteer committee re job descriptions - recap for the team (current postings, concept of content supervisors, content maintainers, and trail checkers for ensuring Web content stays up-to-date, need to work with Trails Council to ensure trail changes are reflected in Web descriptions.)
  • Future new feechur suggested by Bob Jones - a section on the Web to see all the changes to our trails in one place. (Useful for other organizations that have publications about hiking to keep their materials current.)
