1.  Volunteer Handbook:   Revisions are done; RJ suggests add a page with organizational staff chart.   Agreed to include a tree chart. Josh Howard is to provide this2.    CC:  Include Mission per Article 1 of bylaws and guiding principles.  This will change the “about” pag3.      Youth Policy:    DVE: referring to page 7, last sentence, remove the word “annually”   Discussion:  crew leaders need to know of Youth Policy and background checks.   Jeremy:  gave us all a print out of the results/all comments from the satisfaction survey. There are a total of 206 completed surveys.  25 of those are already satisfied, but there are a number of items to address.   MB, RJ, EA will group these responses into categories, and answer or address the questions.  GW will put this into next issue of Trail Walker and suggests it should go into Trail Worker as well.   Josh:  Trail University should start in spring 2012.  Discussion of curriculum and classes, which will be discussed at next Trails Council.  Professionals will help create standards for instruction.   EA: Discussion of volunteer interests and how they are handled.  Josh would like to send out a short survey to future interests, to weed out those that change their minds, prior to sending the names on to the chairs.    Awards:  GW will put in a request for nominations for annual awards into the next Trail Walker.  Our deadline is July 1 for nominations.   Our next meeting Feb. 23, 2012 at 1 p.m.      Estelle Anderson 1/22/2012
