Retiring NJ Senator Frank Lautenberg announced the donation of $1.75 million from the families foundation toward building a visitor center in Sterling Forest. This money will be augmented by $500,000 from the State of NY and other private donations.

It will be located at the south end of Sterling Lake overlooking the lake.
