I have just gotten the very welcome news that American National Power has decided to withdraw its Article 10 application for the power plant in Torne Valley. ANP is abandoning an application that they spent millions on and I think the project is dead for good.

Now, we can concentrate our energies to acquiring the Ramapo Land Company parcels to add them to Harriman State Park. Many thanks to Ron Javer and other members of the Ramapo Chapter who persevered and were willing to be hearing witnesses.  Another fight crossed off the list, we will need our resources for Belleayre and the Southern Shawangunks.
