Information as of November 17, 2004

November 16

All footpaths in Minnewaska SP are open to hikers.

The Hamilton Point CW has been officially closed to bike and foot traffic since the Nov 2002 ice and wind storm.

The High Peters Kill trail bridge over the Peters Kill, near the Peters Kill carpark, was replaced and repaired by the West Hudson North trail crew last month.

September 22

In Minnewaska all trails that where open to bicycling are open again. Only the Hamilton Point Carriageway remains closed to bikes from the ice storms of 02. High Peters Kill Trail remains closed to hikers, although it is anticipated it will be open shortly once the bridge has been repaired.

September 6

Storms in Minnewaska have left extensive damage. The High Peter's Kill Trail is closed to hiking because the bridge was washed out (uncomfirmed).
Extensive damage to all other trails throughout the Park and the park has closed the Castle Point Carriageway and Hamilton Point Carriageway to mountain biking and equestrian use but not hiking.

More information will be added here when we get on the ground reports.
