Water Damage from Weekend Rain Oct. 2005

Please report any severe damage to bridges, washouts or large down trees.

October 10, 2005

The rains, 8-12 inches from Tropical Storm Rita, washed out at least two bridges that we know about.

• Harriman - On HTS where it meets the Kakiat, the bridge is badly damaged.
• Catskills - The bridge over the Neversink/Deer Shanty on the trail from Denning to Table on the Peekamoose-Table Trail is out again (just replaced last summer).
