Appalachian Trail Boardwalk Opens in Pawling

The newly completed Appalachian Trail boardwalk, spanning the Great Swamp in Pawling, had its grand opening Sunday at the Trail crossing of State Route 22. The Appalachian Trail Conservancy and New York-New Jersey Trail Conference coordinated and completed the project, which was funded primarily by the Appalachian Trail Park Office of the National Park Service.
