Federal grants for New Jersey trails projects include Warren County

More than $800,000 in federal recreational trails grants have been allocated to 48 projects in New Jersey this year, and another $1 million may soon be available for 2011 projects, Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Bob Martin announced yesterday.

The approved projects within Warren County include $8,500 for a Musconetcong River kayaking trail in Stephens State Park, Hackettstown. Warren was also included for grants funding trail projects through multiple counties.
