Letter: Susquehanna-Roseland power line would have grave environmental costs

You mention your sympathy for us in our opposition to the Susquehanna-to-Roseland power line project (“Build the power line,” Nov. 9), stating, “This line will be ugly and sections will stretch nearly 200 feet tall, dwarfing the existing line. As it winds through the Highlands region, it will tarnish unspoiled views.” If it were only the terrible scar that the project will create, we would have little to stand on in our opposition.
