For the years the Poughkeepsie resident has helped maintain “his” trail, Mossy Glen, at the Minnewaska State Park Preserve in Kerhonkson, Ulster County.

“It’s my favorite,” said Webber, who volunteers for and manages volunteers with the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference. “It’s a wonderful trail that starts out through a lot of Mountain Laurel,” he said, and winds along the Peters Kill stream for about a mile. “It’s usually shady and cool on summer days with lots of nice little spots alongside the stream.”
