Trails Overview:

The park’s official Web Map (linked above) identifies a network of four marked trails that individually range from 0.6 to 2.8 miles and together total 7.0 miles.  In addition there are numerous unmarked sand trails (some appearing on the Web Map), although the park administration advises staying on blazed trails for safety.  The pathways can become muddy after wet weather.

The single trailhead appearing on the Web Map is on Washington Avenue (see Directions below) with access to the Pitch Pine Loop (white blaze,1.5 miles) and Snuffy Hollow Trail (yellow blaze, 2.1 miles).  For another trailhead and a description of a hike in the park, click here.
