Park Description:

The park is owned and administered by the Putnam County Chapter of the Audubon Society and is preserved as a nature sanctuary particularly for migratory birds. 

Trails Overview:

The trail runs along a ridge 60 feet above Wappingers Creek.

Directions:

South of Wappingers Falls. From the intersection of US 9 and County 28, turn west on 28 crossing over the Wappinger Estuary into the hamlet of New Hamburg. Turn right on Main Street. Parking is at the New Hamburg Park. Metro North has service to New Hamburg. From the station, the park is a short walk up Main Street.
