Hike on the Trails in our new Sterling Forest State Park!

Easy ---- Moderate -- & -- Strenuous hiking levels to choose

The Sterling Forest Partnership and Appalachian Mountain Club invites you to join us in raising funds for the continuing effort to SAVE STERLING FOREST! Ask friends and family to support your hiking by pledging $1, $2, even $5 per mile.

• Hikes are 3 mile Indian Hill Loop, 3 great views and mysterious stone walls, last hike starts no later than 11:15 am
• 6 moderate miles from Blue Lake via the Sterling Ridge fire tower, last hike no later than 10:30 am
• 9 strenuous miles on Sterling Ridge Trail, great 360 view from the fire tower, last hike at 10:00 am

• hiker with the most pledge $$ wins a $50.00 gift certificate
• with $25 or more in pledges you will be in the "Lucky Hiker" drawing

Hike Registration:

From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Registration Fee: at least $15 of pledges or cash

This pledge sheet must be brought on the day of the hike. If you have collected donations in advance of the hike, please turn them in on June 5. To be eligible for the prize drawing and a free tee shirt you must turn in at least $25 in cash, checks or pledges.

The Shortline bus from the Port Authority will stop at the NEW bus stop at the junction of 17 & 17A. We will meet the buses that leave the NY Port Authority at 8:15, 9:10 and 1:15 pm. to provide a shuttle to the fire house.
