STERLING FOREST PARTNERSHIP, INC.

Goshen, NY 10924

The Sterling Forest Partnership, Inc. was created in 1996 as a regional environmental and educational resource. It grew out of the effort to preserve Sterling Forest and will continue to work for the full protection of the entire forest. Our on-going purpose is to create an avenue for local and regional communities, organizations and individuals to explore the region, learn about its nature and history, and participate in environmental forums and regional cultural events. Working in collaboration with the Palisades Interstate Park Commission and other organizations, we develop and coordinate programs focusing on Sterling Forest and the Appalachian Trial countryside.

The Partnership encourages institutions, experts, and hobbyists in local ecology, history, arts, and early crafts to join us in exchanging knowledge, conducting research projects, seeing this region in new ways and simply enjoying Sterling Forest. By working together we capture the interest and excitement of the region and share that enthusiasm with others.

Sterling Forest Partnership, Inc. is a membership-based, not-for-profit organization open to individuals, families, businesses and other organizations.
