About the Authors
Stella Green and H. Neil Zimmerman, respectively past vice-president and past president of the New York—New Jersey Trail Conference, are well known in the outdoors community and are frequent hiking companions. They are also coauthors of 50 Hikes in New Jersey (Countryman). Green lives in northern New Jersey, and Zimmerman splits his time between Manhattan and the Shawangunks.
