Although not in the region where the NY-NJ Trail Conference is active, many conference members hike here. We have a particularly strong agreement with the the Adirondack Mountain Club for advocacy work in support of trails and open space in all of NY. See ADK's web site for many more details, like books and maps. The ADK has several chapters that are members clubs of the Trail Conference.
