Description:
The Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce and the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference are hosting a 5K race/3K walk at the Trail Conference Headquarters. We are looking for several volunteers to help fill promotional bags, as well as volunteers to attend our water stations. We would need help bagging the materials anytime that works for you on May 17th, and those interested in being a water station volunteer will be needed on race day May 21st from 7:30 am – 10:00 am.
Starting at the newly restored Darlington Schoolhouse, this relatively flat 3.1 mile course features highlights that include the scenic Ramapo Reservation and River, the beautiful Hunt & Polo Club neighborhood, and Ramapo College’s historic Havemeyer House. The course follows a combination of paved roads, wide woods roads and maintained grass and dirt trails before returning to the finish line at the Darlington Schoolhouse.
