NJ ATV Campaign Assistant Conservation and Advocacy

Assist NJ Regional Representative with grassroots campaign to support passage of ATV legislation. Campaign will include a statewide letter to the editor writing push, a concentrated advocacy effort in north jersey to pass ordinances at the local level, and a series of press conferences.

NewWebmaster Intern Darlington Schoolhouse Design, update and manage the Darlington Schoolhouse website. Experience in website design, especially Drupal/ content management systems and PHP scripting language is desired. 5-10 hours per week, including Wednesday afternoons.
Executive Assistant Office & Technology Support

Trail Conference Executive Director has his fingers in too many projects and needs someone to help manage it all.  Main requirements are organizational and clerical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office software and the ability to come in 10-20 hours a week on a regular basis.

Web Writers Communications New Parks and Regions online database resources will complement and expand the Trail Conference’s highly regarded Walk Books for New York and New Jersey. We’ve got New Jersey covered and need help with New York. Work from home or in the office. Adopt a region and write about it. Required: a computer, online access, commitment to accuracy, ability to be concise, willingness to learn and use online tools that are still in development. A great opportunity to support trails without getting dirty.
Publications Project Manager Publications Help the Trail Conference produce a book or map! We are looking for volunteers to come and take charge of a publication. Experience in project management is helpful.
Front Desk Assistant Office & Technology Support We are looking for someone with knowledge of local hiking opprotunities who would like to help out in our small but busy Mahwah office. Duties will include hiking advice to to members, volunteers and the public as well as general office work.
