hard to walk on. Also I will realign the approach from the road.

Evaluation
Tom DeGregorio, Troop 10 of Ossining, NY, completed a very ambitious
Eagle Scout project with the final troop committee approval in October
2002. It is certainly the largest project ever
undertaken by a youth group in the NY/NJ area for the Trail
Conference. Tom was the recipient of the first Elizabeth Levers
Memorial Fund for Youth Projects, having matched the dollars of the
grant almost ten to one without including the volunteer labor with his
skill at fund raising. The quality of the construction matches or
exceeds that of any our local volunteer crews including the
MidAtlantic ATC Crew. Even in a dry year like this, the old puncheon
was frequently under water for part of its length. The new one is our
first experiment with Trex as the rot proof support in our attempt to
find alternatives to the toxic pressure treated woods.
Walt Daniels, an AT supervisor for the Trail Conference, said: "Tom,
you have set a standard that we hope other youth volunteers can come
close to meeting."
