 Are you interested in learning native and non-native plant
identification or helping to maintain the Greenbelt trail system?
The Greenbelt and NY/ NJ Trail Conference have volunteer opportunities available
Join us for our orientation session to discover the many ways in which you can
give back to the open space you enjoy so much!
No previous experience is necessary and beginners are welcome.
Volunteers will spend the day learning which plants are native, non-native and the general 101 basics of trail maintenance. Weather permitting we will go out on the trails for some hands-on
non-native plant removal and trail maintenance instruction.
