Having well-trained field volunteers starts with instructors knowledgeable about what they will teach and who know effective ways to present it. Learn how successful instructors teach and engage adult learners, and what to expect when presenting a course. You will learn to manage course logistics and class time, integrate materials, and use visual aids to create a positive learning environment and engage participants. Time to practice course delivery and refine your techniques using feedback, questioning, and evaluation is included. All students are encouraged to be videotaped to be used for self-review.

This is a two day workshop.  Participation is required in part 2 on Friday April 5th, 2013
