Jolly Rovers on Major Welch Trail at Bear Mountain, 2012The Jolly Rovers are recruiting new members! If you're curious about technical stonework on trails or want to join a crew that specializes in it, the Rovers invite you to attend their trail crew orientation to see what its all about. Becoming a member of this crew takes time and training, and this orientation is the first step to become a member. During the orientation an introduction to the Jolly Rovers history and current work projects will be provided along with explanations of the how the work is done. A basic introduction to all the tools students will be expected to learn about in the workshops to follow is also provided, along with the requirements and expectations of membership. After the orientation, all participants will have an opportunity to sign up for a series of workshops specializing in stonework throughout the month of April.
